Unlike the old BMW Powermeter app, this uses sensors in the car, so it’s only suited to BMW M models. We got the keys to an appropriate car, and were impressed by the app’s sleek design. It records lateral and forward acceleration, speed and GPS, and the integration means data is highly accurate. You can compare and share results, but there’s no video integration, and we wish this excellent user experience was open to a wider audience.
