Cars coming soon
Our comprehensive guide to the new cars arriving in showrooms over the next 12 months
February 2013
Citroen DS3 Cabrio
Like the Fiat 500C, the new Citroen DS3 Cabrio uses a folding canvas system that winds back like a big sunroof. It takes 16 seconds to lower and can be opened or closed at motorway speeds.
Volvo V60 PHEV
The V60 is one of the most stylish estate cars on the market, but sales have been slow. Volvo hopes to broaden its appeal with this new super-frugal plug-in hybrid model. Economy of 148.7mpg and emissions of only 49g/km have the potential to make it the most efficient load-lugger on the market.
Vauxhall Adam
Vauxhall has long lacked a rival to the popular MINI, Fiat 500 and Audi A1, but it hopes to rectify this with the new Adam city car. There are 30,000 trim and option combinations, so there's plenty of scope for personalisation.
Ford Kuga
The previous-generation Ford Kuga was one of the best handling mid-sized SUVs on sale. The new car is more efficient, better equipped and cheaper to buy than the model it replaces.
Hyundai Veloster Turbo
We’ve already driven the Hyundai Veloster Turbo, but its high list price and lack of premium badge held it back against more established rivals like the VW Scirocco. This new entry-level model could be the answer.
Volvo V40 R-Design
The brilliant Volvo V40 has lacked the appeal of the flagship R-Design trim – until now. From February, you’ll be able to order your family hatch with bigger wheels, an aggressive body kit and lowered suspension.
