Best Citroen C5 deals

The C5 promised to deliver both French flair and Germanic build quality - now at a temptingly low price.

Best Citroen C5 deals.

Launched back in 2008, the C5 saloon hasn't been a runaway sales success - but that just means that dealers are eager to shift them, and are willing to offer big discounts for this classy competitor to the Ford Mondeo.

Citroen deals

Although willing to haggle, dealers won't often offer you a cash discount up front - instead, have a look at their finance deals. The C5 range benefits from two credit options, the first is a 0% APR offer when you stump up a 30 percent  initial deposit (£6,238 for the 1.6HDi 110hp VTR+ NAV model).

The other option is an 'Elect 3' finance bundle that gives you the option of handing the car back or trading it in for a newer model when the lease is up. The APR is higher at 9.9%, and the annual mileage limit is 10,000.

Marketplace deals

Although this car doesn't come with the MyWay satellite navitgation now standard on VTR+ NAV models, we found this 2.0-litre petrol C5 from main dealer Perry's with four and a half grand off the asking price - a tempting proposition with or without sat-nav.
