Limited edition Cupra Formentor VZN unveiled

Sporty SUV gets new trim level with extra equipment

This is the new Cupra Formentor VZN, a limited edition version of the Spanish brand’s sporty coupe-SUV. It features several bespoke styling additions over the range-topping V3N spec model, and is available to order now from £48,270 – £755 more than a VZ3 spec model.

Like the VZ3, the VZN is only offered with the Formentor’s most powerful engine: a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI unit producing 306bhp, with power going through a DSG automatic gearbox to all four wheels.

The VZN’s exterior amendments include new 19-inch matte black wheels, more matte black finishing on the grilles and mirror covers, and black Cupra badging. The body colour is limited to Midnight Black and a new Mountain Green – which is exclusive to the VZN. At the front there are LED headlights with a multi-function camera which feeds information like speed limit restrictions to the driver’s display.

On the inside there’s Cupra’s electrically adjustable and heated Dinamica and leather black bucket seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, an upgraded Beats Audio sound system and a top view camera. The VZ3’s Dynamic Chassis Control is carried over to the VZN too.

Performance remains unchanged from the VZ3, with the VZN offering up the same 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds and 155mph top speed.
