Nissan fits new powertrains to mid-size NV300 and full-size NV400 with pricing from £21,655
The Nissan NV400 full-size van has been updated with a new 2.3-litre diesel engine, while the smaller NV300 now features a new Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and more powerful engines.
The 2.3-litre diesel, available in three states of tune, has been adopted from the Nissan Navara pickup. The Nissan NV300 shares a platform with the Renault Trafic and Vauxhall Vivaro in the same way the larger NV400 in based on the Renault Master and Vauxhall Movano.
It’s not just the powertrains that have been updated for Nissan’s van lineup, the interiors have undergone a refresh and the infotainment system’s interface has been redesigned. Nissan has also focused on improving the NV400’s interior storage, featuring a new pull-out tray.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are included in both the NV300 and NV400 with the latter available with new safety options such as Blind Spot Warning, Side Wind and Lane Departure Alert.
Pricing for the NV300 starts from £21,655 and £24,390 for the full-size NV400.
