Forza Motorsport 3

Price: £19.99, tested on: X360

The Xbox360’s rival to Gran Turismo features officially licensed cars – including Porsches – and offers great driving. It matches GT5 for features, but after that, it loses out, as there aren’t many real-life courses, and it focuses too much on drift, drag and timed events, rather than racing. This gives some diversion and will keep you interested for longer, but we felt the game is showing its age. Loading involves two discs, plus we preferred GT5’s career mode – although Forza is half the price.
