We're barely into 2011 but it's already looking set to be an exciting year for new car launches and another wallet-punishing period for motorists. 

The Congestion Charge has already gone up to £10 a day, fuel prices are approaching record highs and things could go either way during March's budget announcement.

But, it's not all doom and gloom. There's the world's first diesel hybrid – the 3008 HYbrid4 – and McLaren's first supercar for over a decade, not to mention the 1000mph Bloodhound.
