Fiat Doblo

Fiat's ultra-practical MPV retains proportions of its predecessor

It’s never been known for its desirability –but there’s no denying that the Fiat Doblo has always been one of the mostpractical motors money can buy – and a huge success because of it. Now there’sa new model on its way, and our photographers have caught it on the open roadahead of its scheduled launch sometime in 2010.

The Doblo is unmistakeable thanks to its upright windscreen and slab-sided profile - a similar look to its predecessor. It also gets a huge upright front grille and sliding doors on both sides.

When it goes on sale next year customers will be able to choose between a conventional passenger car with a top-hinged rear door, or the commercial vehicle with a split tailgate shown here.
