As a general-purpose strap wrench, this is an excellent piece of kit. The band is very tough with textured surfaces to maximise grip. As an oil filter remover, though, it was too big and clumsy. The lever alone is 280mm long and we had to move it a fair distance to build grip before we could even attempt to budge the filter.
