Although the lock grip plier is a great idea, a lot of space is required to accommodate Draper’s 150mm-long lever arrangement. Our main bugbear, though, was that we had to release and reclamp the jaws every time we changed the position of the tool on the filter – especially as the wrench’s size meant this had to be done frequently.
