Three-legged filter removers are a pretty foolproof concept: the more force you apply, the more firmly the filter is gripped. This model triumphed as it’s so compact. The legs required a clearance of only 5mm, which made it ideal for removing filters from sump cut-outs. A slightly limited size range is our only gripe.
