2016 Audi A4 Avant spyshots - Pictures

This is the next-generation Audi A4 Avant compact executive estate

The load-lugging Avant will arrive in early 2016, after the saloon at the end of this year

We'll first see the saloon at the Frankfurt show in September, but the Avant won't be shown until at least the Paris show in November

The 2015/16 A4 will be based on the new MLB platform seen in the new Q7, with a weight saving of around 100kg likely.

The new A4 will come with the familiar array of four and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, but a plug-in hybrid e-tron model will also appear.
