BEST BUY This is all the sat-nav most motorists could ever need! The Via 120 gets live updates on tailbacks via a built-in SIM card, and while this costs £47.50 a year after the first 

12 months, it’s very accurate. There’s a timeline on the right of the screen to warn you of delays, and it will interrupt you over the journey to say if the route you’re on is no longer the fastest. You have to add an extra £20 to the cost of the UK 120 to get European maps, and while the mount isn’t as easy to adjust as Garmin’s ball-and-socket, it is well integrated into the back

of the device. Rerouting took only five seconds, the maps were accurate and the menu is really simple to use. It’s also slightly cheaper than the 2360LT, and the widescreen is just as responsive. There’s no portrait view, but you can still connect your mobile via Bluetooth – which helps seal the win for the TomTom.
